In his rambling and incoherent press conference yesterday, Trump claimed falsely that he got the price reduced for insulin. LIE! Are you surprised? Of course not.

“Kamala and Joe tried to take credit for $35 insulin, you know who did that? I did that,” Trump said during a 75-minute speech at the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium in Asheville.

And on Truth Social:

“Low INSULIN PRICING was gotten for millions of Americans by me, and the Trump Administration, not by Crooked Joe Biden. He had NOTHING to do with it. It was all done long before he so sadly entered office. All he does is try to take credit for things done by others, in this case, ME!"

LIE!

It was done by the Democrats and the Biden administration, signed into law by Joe Biden. It was included in the Inflation Reduction Act. Not a single Republican voted for it.

But I guarantee you that any MAGA true believer who hears Trump say that will argue till he is blue in the face that Trump did it. Trump knows his base and knows that he can tell them lies and they will not question them.
