Would the nyt lie to experts? “ In the 2024 election, six times as many counties shifted toward the GOP as toward the Democrats. While 435 counties trended more Democratic compared to 2012, 2,678 moved more Republican—by an even larger average margin of 13.3 points versus 8.8 for Democrats.

That's not just a loss; that's a political bloodbath.“ https://pjmedia.com/matt-margolis/2025/05/25/the-d...

Meanwhile, they held a "retreat" to help them brainstorm on why they can't connect with working class men. They met at some luxury hotel and ate lobster.

I'm loving this :)

https://www.yahoo.com/news/democrats-spending-mill...

Democrats have blown millions of dollars on efforts to appeal to “American Men,” who turned to President Donald Trump in droves on election day, in the hopes of winning back the working class, according to a report.

Democrats have spent $20 million on their efforts, with donors and strategists holing up in luxury hotel rooms brainstorming how to convince working-class men to return to the party, according to a New York Times report.

The plan, code-named SAM, or “Speaking with American Men: A Strategic Plan,” promises to use the funds to “study the syntax, language and content that gains attention and virality in these spaces,” according to the report.

Love it.

They're losing and they have no idea why. It's a perfect spot to be in :)

“ Love it.

I’m an embarrassed honest liberal, who is left to ♥️ me? The party found a way to get blown out by trump, and they aren’t embarrassed? Sad.

Media Bias Fact Check

Overall, we rate PJ Media to be Questionable based on extreme right-wing bias, promotion of propaganda and conspiracies, as well as numerous failed fact checks.

Nominee Donald Trump Kamala Harris
Party Republican Democratic
Home state Florida California
Running mate JD Vance Tim Walz
Electoral vote 312 226
States carried 31 + ME-02 19 + DC + NE-02
Popular vote 77,302,580[2] 75,017,613[2]
Percentage 49.8%[2] 48.3%[2]

So the lead was by 1.5% and around 2.3 million votes. PJ figures a way to make it sound like a bloodbath, in the meantime Trump appears to be failing. Enjoy it while it lasts. The Dems can recover, but it looks like the USA can't. You threw away the USA.

" The more Biden was out of it, the more his hours and responsibilities were curtailed, the more of a vacuum there was at the top, the more power the advisers had. They treated his alarming deterioration like a political vulnerability, something to be concealed, not a matter of concern to all Americans, something we had a right to know.
It took the Democrats far too long to acknowledge and push back against what Americans could see with their own eyes. Democratic pooh-bahs and lawmakers were silent when they should have been screaming — as the Republicans are now with Trump’s egregious assaults on the Constitution, his cringey grifting, his crazed revenge moves against anyone who has crossed him, and his loony Truth Social screeds attacking Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift.

‘The Last of Us’ Season 2, Episode 6: Like Father
How to Travel Without a Phone
Divorce Is a Gift
The Bidens and their allies still try to prove Biden is all there. He has done interviews on “The View” with Jill, and the BBC on his own, acting as though what happened was not a shocking tableau of duplicity.
“President Joe Biden got out of bed the day after the 2024 election convinced that he had been wronged,” Tapper and Thompson write. “The elites, the Democratic officials, the media, Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama — they shouldn’t have pushed him out of the race.” The polls said he could have beaten Trump, Biden felt, and his team had always doubted Kamala Harris’s abilities.
But the polls Biden kept counting on never existed — except in Bidenworld’s gauzy alternate universe."

So the lead was by 1.5% and around 2.3 million votes

And it is important to remember who those voters are:
Trump lost college educated women 61% to 37%.
Trump lost non college educated women 53% to 45%.
Trump lost college educated men 49% to 48%.
Trump won non college educated men 61% to 37%. (MAGA)

College grads have gone from 60% male to 60% female.
STEM grads have gone from 3% female to 40% female.
I suspect similar statistics exist for minorities.

When I grew up, being a white male meant almost certain success. That is not the case anymore. It is not surprising that many of the failing white males want to "go back".... Personally, I think only time solves this problem.

I was recently chatting with a conservative male friend and he loudly claimed women can't do math. He would never knowingly drive across a bridge designed by a woman. (They walk among us)

I vehemently disagree with pronouncements of 'death spiral'.

In a tribal, stupid country - the Sheeple need a new flavor of the month all the time. Yeah, Karl Rove's Republican Supermajority was gonna rule forever......until Obama took two terms.

Then the "demographic" of the country would shift - self hating White Sheeple types were so gleeful that the evil white persons will be outnumbered and that kills the Republican Party.

And then Trump. Won. twice. partially thanks to non white citizens.

And now here we are talking "Dem Death Spiral".

Yes, they have problems Yes, they will fight it out ---are they a Coastal Yoga Mom party of the blue-haired-I-cut-off-my-penis-and-want-the-world-to-know-it party? OR will they be the party of - stupid things like education, Social Security, health care.

But..... if Republicans keep messing with things, or even TALK of messing with things like Social Security, health care, food stamps, etc....they will make things MUCH easier for Democrats. And at that point if extremists and slaves and followers like Tmf Sheeple are told to sit down and shut up, and let a Bill Clinton-esque regime be the standard bearer, we on the Right will be the Democrat's bitch for a little while and who knows, they might even increase SCOTUS seats.

You will have more "wave" elections not because one party is better -- but because due to bad culture, bad globalist socioeconomic policies, LACK of investment in - people - people will always be not content. They will be desperate. Dissatisfied. Insolvent---mainly because the march away from traditional culture, family units, and traditional anchors of life were traded in for the Whazzup-Dawg-Peloton-Chipotle-SideHustle life and therefore they will toss out the incumbent for no reason other than they feel their life sucking a bit.

Now for the fun part. After decades of being demure - MAGA rose up in the GOP. And in 2016 - did the impossible and won BUT think: Trump was NOT majority winner many times. It was SOLELY HIM GETTING MAGA VOTE. The google-jockey-establishment-vote was being SPLIT multiple ways be it Marco, Teddy, whatever.

So think. What if the progressives have their MAGA moment? What if they say screw you, we're not moderating. And let's say "AOC" who "can't win" is running. Imagine - Shapiro, besmear, Pritzker, etc split the moderate Dem vote...... and AOC gets nominated no differently than Trump did in 2016 and if it's a wave election - and she's promising to give the people of this country the basics the Republicans might be taking away ----- stranger things have happened people.

I don't think either party is in a death spiral.

As long as your culture continues to decline, and your match away from the the good life is promoted, and people's expectations are artificially high --- BOTH parties will exploit it and take turns benefitting from it.

Like iv'e said - 2020's are the good ol' days.

Oddly I'm less giddy about it than usual today. Weak moment I guess.

except in Bidenworld’s gauzy alternate universe.

Yet Biden's world was far more realistic--and accurate--than Spankee's ever is, was, or could be. I don't say so, the American public says so--with their MONEY and ACTIONS.

You can have a degree and still be an idiot.

Very true. I’ve known many such idiots, and nobody claims that having a degree confers common sense.

But I’ve known as many people who lacked a degree AND were still idiots.
