There is some speculation on Twitter because apparently a highly unusual number of private jets have been in Omaha these days.
https://twitter.com/FuzzyPandaShort/status/1636786...What are your thoughts: Could Buffett do multiple deals to save some regional banks?
(After many years of reading this amazing board, today is my first post! A huge Thank you to Manlobbi for rebuilding this community from a fellow classical music enthusiast!)

Twit: "Did Buffett give all the Regional Banks the same deal? Was it 10% preferreds + warrants again? Which banks took the deal?
Or maybe it is just a great time of year to visit Omaha?
Be fearful when others are greedy, and greedy when others are fearful
~Warren Buffett"
I'm remembering (mis-remembering?) 2008...Buffett does all these deals, which were nice, but couldn't he (and we) have done so much better just buying stocks?
His patriotic duty to save the banks, I guess.

While some of the preferred/warrants deals with BAC, GS, GE made money and some like USG were disastrous, there was much more money to be made buying equity of SBUX, Apple and AXP in 2008/09.
It has been my costliest of missed opportunities passing up on the trio. All were on my watchlist and I should have bought them instead of trying to follow Buffett.
His portfolio moves in mega banks, big oil, airlines, TSMC are even more puzzling and don't tempt me to follow him any longer.
