Invite ye felawes and frendes desirous in gold to enter the gates of Shrewd'm, for they will thanke ye later.

Apparently, the Felon is going after him. Which is probably bone-headed. Because now Smith will have the opportunity to air all the dirty laundry he found, that he couldn't air before.
https://www.nytimes.com/2025/11/03/us/politics/jac...Mr. Smith has told people in his orbit that he welcomes the opportunity to present the public case against Mr. Trump denied to him by the Supreme Court decision asserting broad presidential immunity from prosecution and adverse rulings from a Trump-appointed judge on the federal bench in Florida.
Whether Mr. Smith gets the chance to confront his accusers on the biggest official stage available to him, a public House or Senate hearing, remains very much an open question. Some Republicans have privately expressed concern that Mr. Trump’s quest for vengeance could backfire by giving a credible anticorruption investigator an open mic.

what happens when retribution goes after well-resourced lawyers with weak cases?
the gop will be eating of TACOs from Smith, and something much less savory via Comey.
maybe someday there will be a southpark with Cannon and Satan compelled to testify at the Smith trial.

It sounds like Jack Smith, through proxies, is blustering.
That's a sign of weakness, not strength.
He's afraid.

No. Blustering is what you do. He's an experienced prosecutor.

Experienced attorneys, who are now clients, like Jack Smith is--know enough to keep their mouths shut and let their attorneys handle things.

It's really a gift to him. I'm not well-versed in the legal details. I suspect he wasn't able to talk about the case in any detail at the time. But he has to tell "the whole truth" in a court of law, which -I assume- means getting into the case against the Felon as much as he wants, as long as it is even slightly relevant to his case. On the record in open court. I don't think it's Smith who should be afraid.

There is no "case" against Trump. It was dismissed.

I’m looking forward to it.
Meanwhile, Republicans have been scrambling to keep his coming testimony away from public view.

I agree. And I suspect mardo loses at poker.

Yes there is. It was dismissed because Trump won the election. But you know this and are just spreading...

There is no "case" against Trump. It was dismissed.
It certainly wasn’t dismissed based on the evidence. It was dismissed because people like you voted for him, which has resulted in loss of healthcare insurance, rising inflation, military on the streets of our cities, trillions added to our national debt, the longest government shutdown in history, huge layoffs, Americans unable to afford food and housing, the most incompetent presidential staff in history, low popularity, low consumer confidence, our enemies gaining power, continuing wars, and a weak economy.
But other than that, how was the play Mrs. Lincoln?
No. of Recommendations: 3
Correct that it was dismissed, but incorrect that there was no case. There was, otherwise there would have been nothing to dismiss. A sycophant judge dismissed it. And Smith has all the details of his case. It will be amusing if this proceeds, and he's given an "open mic" to air it all out on the record.

I had previously said there "is" no case.
Jack Smith has nothing to "air out."
The question will be whether he exceeded his lawful authority by supboenaing records of hundreds of Republican politicians under the umbrella of the "Arctic Frost" operation.
The more noise someone like Jack Smith makes, either directly or through proxies, the more FOS he probably is.

Jack Smith has nothing to "air out."
That’s why Republicans want him testifying in a closed hearing, amirite little marco?

Time will tell, assuming the Felon is stupid enough to pursue this.

If he has any brains at all, Jack Smith will be taking the 5th in response to every questioned asked of him if he testifies under oath to Congress.
So, no, he won't be "airing out" anything, if he's as good a lawyer as some people seem to think. (I'm not one of those people.)

This is your brain in a bubble.
Do not be like little marco.
Don’t let your brain be swallowed by the bubble.
