For the record, I have no opinion or preconception about this. As far as I'm concerned, if he did something wrong then he did. And, if so, he should have consequences. Apparently the DOJ has been into it, which may preclude Congress from holding their own investigation. Which is appropriate. The DOJ should be investigating this sort of thing, and filing charges as appropriate.

House Republicans are itching to investigate Hunter Biden. But they have a problem: The feds got there first.

That does scuttle the argument about no investigation. There has been (and still is) an investigation. It's just proceeding more slowly than the Reps would like (just as the investigation into Trump is proceeding more slowly than I would like). Yeah, our system is slow.
