The emerging Senate package is expected to raise the bar for asylum-seekers to come to the U.S., grant additional powers to remove migrants to control the border and restrict the use of parole to admit certain migrants as they await processing for their cases

You should have spent 2 more seconds. Then you'd understand why the deal is a non-starter.

*Immediate work permits for every illegal released from custody
*Taxpayer funded lawyers
*5,000 migrants allowed in the US PER DAY (Thats's 150k/month)

So it freezes the current flood at the border. Does that sound like something the GOP would support?
