Halls of Shrewd'm / US Policy

I just wanted to know if a country has ever been so pathetic as America to threaten a historical ally with military action to annex their overseas territory, and then had the gall to ask them to help with a domestic egg shortage.
In my life, I'm not sure of a more pathetic action, but I'm open to suggestions.
The next closest recent example I could think of was the second Iraq war, and the "Coalition of the Willing". And guess who supported the US us in that debacle? If you guessed Denmark, you were correct. If you guessed Panama, who we have also threatened with invasion, you are correct. Ukraine? Also correct.
I wish it need not have happened in my time.

Many countries have gotten aid from the United States and then publicly criticized or attacked.
What's next, start World Wars and have some Marshall shit rebuild you?

truly bizarre behavior on America's part. I haven't checked to see how Denmark responded.
They should have just ignored the request.
I'm flabbergasted at how America is treating Canada. They are about the best neighbors
one could possibly hope for, and blowhard Trump threatens them with annexation. Canada
has stood by America's side, and Trump pisses all over them. There will be repercussions
for that.

was pretty sure by now that trump would slap an egg tariff on 'foreign' Canada Geese each time they cross the border.
'they're illegally transporting our eggs! domestic birds have never been treated so unfairly; committing mass suicide in protest!'
am here all week folks.

Speaking of eggs. How's that going? It wasn't but a couple of weeks ago that egg prices were all the rage here. Wonder why the sullen silence?
