This morning I was at Planet Fitness, with maybe nine big screens arrayed in the front of the big room——ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, local traffic and weather, a couple ESPNs, Food Network, FX showing Wolverine 7 or something. All the news reports were about Trump "suddenly reversing himself" twaddle twaddle twaddle, on the Republican Epstein vote he is going to lose hard, airports getting back to work after the government shitdown, health care premiums skyrocketing. Perhaps you have heard tell of some of these topics of current interest.
But not on Fox News.
There, the big breathless main story, as it has been for months now, was "Honoring Charlie Kirk". Passing out "Freedom" t-shirts in New York City, (you know, where they need to be reminded that free speech is a thing, see every demonstration ever) and being protested by lefty dems (I assume they polled to confirm their party affiliation in the interest of journalistic rigor).
And that was it. The entire endless segment could have been run over a graphic that said "WTF?"
Fox News. When they tell their Stepford viewers that something is "Breaking News", they mean it literally.
