Dope1: Actually, you're the one who doesn't understand and no one has a beef with the legislation. You really should read the posts that you respond to understand what people are telling you.

Yeah, nice spin.

If you have no problem with the legislation and didn't intend to imply this would somehow open the doors to forced diversity through affordable housing requirements, then why bring it here in the first place?

Or isn't this what you guys wrote and meant?

YOU: Methinks there are several nice neighborhoods in say, Evanston, Naperville, Downers Grove and the like that could use some more diversity.

WILTONKNIGHT: ..the black and latino and asian you mention, are FAR DIFFERENT than the residents that I would love to bring in.
