After the SIVB debacle, the regional banks have been slaughtered...I was wondering if any of our members own these 2 banks...

KEY Corp is one of the larger regional banks, and has been around for a long time...It does offer a very healthy dividend...and I think its Held to maturity / total assets is less than 3%. It seems to be a value stock based on its P/E, P/B value metrics...

It has fallen dramatically since last week, by almost 35%.

I am not really good at assessing bank stocks, and was hoping to get your thoughts.

Since all regional banks have been hammered, why not a sector bet like IAT, a regional bank etf?

Thank you, yeah, that sounds like a better bet. I sold the KEY stock at a loss, as I am not sure what exactly is happening or might happen...looks like there are some liquidity issues in the bank...The ETF may be a better play, if one does want to play. Thank you PhoolishPhilip!
