I don't want Buffett sitting in the stands and seeming involved in every move. Let the board be seen as the overview, not the board chairman. If Buffett truly trusts Greg, show it.
I agree with above, but I also think it's a sideshow and not material to the future prospects of Berkshire.
The real question is whether Greg is capable of doing the job.
If he is, he won't let Buffett - or anyone else - stop him from implementing his vision.
If he is not, well then we are screwed!
Either way, I don't think it matters too much whether Buffett shows up to work or not.
