Interesting article about a probable fake account that purported to be from a very whacko far left Twitter user. More likely was used to rage bait right wingers. If so, it worked wonderfully well in that regard.

There's just one problem: She's probably a fake.

The 'proud Democrat' in Washington, as she described herself on Twitter, doesn't show up in any local phone or voting records. The Biden presidential campaign, where she said she worked as a field organizer, has no record of her; neither does the Obama Foundation, where she claimed to have volunteered.

She's been especially popular with conservatives, who promoted her as a perfect symbol of how overly theatrical and inane liberals can be ' like when she attacked the Supreme Court's affirmative action decision last week by saying 'no Black person will be able to succeed in a merit-based system.' The tweet was viewed more than 27 million times.

This kind of rage baiting can be seen on both sides of the political spectrum but the MAGA crowd seems to wallow in rage, spite and hatred.

This kind of rage baiting can be seen on both sides of the political spectrum but the MAGA crowd seems to wallow in rage, spite and hatred.

I think it is at least in part due to the sources the MAGA crowd rely on and/or prefer. Their media outlets specialize in distortions designed to provoke rage. Jan 6 is a great example. After months of false reporting about the election results (note that FOX did call it correctly initially, but then backpedaled because their ratings were threatened), coupled with a psychopath/sociopath egging the crowd on, Jan 6 was almost inevitable.

Yes, of course. The right wing media is full of cynical money grubbers pandering to the worst in human nature. Just look at Tucker Carlson and all the true things he said about Trump when he thought it was off the record. But he was getting rich off the goobers he lied to every day so he would never tell the truth on air. Sickening, soul-less greed-heads.
