I'm seeing an amusing feature when looking at a whole thread: if someone forgets to close their italic the rest of the posts in that thread stay in italic. My html-fu is non-existent so I'm wondering if there is a way to force each new message in the thread to start as plain text?

Definitely weirdness. It happens with" bolding" as well in a thread.

I just tried to include the word BOLD w/html. And closed out properly with "/B". But when I previewed it, it treated the word properly, but also bolded the Subject Line. Maybe that's why it will continue as italic/bold on future replies. I did also try to add a period on the first reply line so as to start with plain text. Didn't matter, the html tag still bolded the subject line.

And even when not as part of tagging a word/phrase, but just using a "partial" tag (/B) above it changes the subject line to bold after I preview it. Gonna post and see what happens

Well the Subject line doesn't remain bolded after post, so that's not it. Perhaps that's just to highlight subject being discussed.

Also showing my html-fu is non-existent too.
