So, changing the subject for a minute given the holiday season...
....I want to share an absolutely wonderful desert idea that we are doing this year.
My wife's mom loves pumpkin pie but hates Trump.
So, my wife bought a store-made pumpkin pie, you know, the kind in a foil pan with clear plastic cover on top. It looks delicious.
I thought given the holiday season I would add something to it to make it even better.
So, I took a Sharpie and crossed out on the label where it says "Pumpkin Pie" and wrote in "Trumpkin Pie."
Then, I printed out a photo from the internet of Trump blowing a raspberry and making a face, cut it out from the page, and taped it to the top of the pie container, right above the label.
Everyone, have a wonderful TrumpsGiving!!!

To you as well.
I hope your wife has a lot of tolerance and a sense of humor.
In our house, Thanksgiving is the one day during the year in which I DO NOT have primary cooking responsibilities.
I run to the store, do a few odds and ends around the house, and watch my wifee and her daughter in the kitchen doing prep for Thanksgiving dinner.
We’ll have pumpkin pie as well, but from scratch. She swears the stores can’t make a good crust- so she spends over half an hour with a bowl of flower, butter and a fork- mixing that butter into the flour…… must be mixed to the microscopic level because when she finishes mixing, there are no chunks of butter to be found.

My absolutely wonderful Thanksgiving desert idea is I'm flying to the desert for the winter on Saturday.
Once there, I will have a nice dessert from Sherman's.

As we all know, a black Sharpie changes reality. :^)
