You didn’t provide a link, something you admonish others for doing.

You’re probably referring to this incident:

If so, your “version” is wildly inaccurate.

What I don't get is why the men that live their allow this stuff.

What I don’t get is why people choose to believe misinformation to justify their misconceptions.

My guess is because facts don’t support their beliefs.
