They said this:
“We finally need to wake up and realise: ‘This is it’,” said a senior EU diplomat in response to the White House fallout. “We are on our own and the parents on the other side of the Atlantic have just turfed us out of the family home, cut off our allowances and disinherited us.”

We haven't disinherited them. What we're asking them to do is get a real job, move out of the basement and stop smoking weed all day. Let's see if they do it or not.

Hee hee. But point taken.

But why aren't they called "Russian asset" when they are right there, near where Russia is doing bad things....and they've yet to say "we the Europeans are gonna make every sacrifice, spend every dime, draft our people, and handle this mess and beat Putin".

Blah blah blah I took history courses with future 401K corporate sellouts and we learned that hugs and words don't beat back dictators who are already on the move and armed to the teeth.
