Apparently, even as they criticize US policies and enforcement. The Mexican border patrol has been observed arresting a lot of people on their side. There has been a coinciding dip in some areas in January of migrants.

As we can see, they cross and then wait to be picked up by Border Patrol to be processed for asylum. They aren't even trying to hide. They want to be picked up.

That won't stop until Congress changes the law. Until that time, this is completely legal. Hence, they are NOT "illegals".
