Can we get the HWTSC here and the Apple Fools Board too?

Can you give more info about both of these? You can already type either Apple or AAPL in the box below to get to the Apple board instantly. What does HWTSC stand for? Is there an audience that you can drum up?

Thanks. 'Help With This Stupic Computer' even in humor is slightly aggressive in context of being shown on the main page every day so I can understand why you liked to use HWTS abbr'viations, but I also avoid abbr'viations as they are too colloquial and unclear for newcomers. Maybe we'll have sub-pages later and can spell it out there. Noted and I'll think on it.

New innovation. I have set up a page called 'The Outskirts of Shrewdom' for additional boards. I have also added a new board there: 'Help With This Stupid Computer'.

I will keep this board there permanently so do not worry about it going away. Try to establish an audience, and you can share the link above. Remember - I will keep it there permanently to always give the opportunity for it to be used and grow.

This provides you with a chance to grow activity if you had an existing community. If it is active enough we can also move it to Halls, but the goal is to grow it rather than think so much about where it is.

Each board has its own culture/audience, and there isn't anywhere near as much cross-pollination as most would expect. That is also why the particular environment is so successful here - the boards keep their culture, which in turn makes it richer and more nuanced.

Love this! Just so you know, the name for HWTSC was 'Help With This STUPID Computer!'. A nice little touch if you ask me. :)

One might be tempted to change it to SILLY computer. That keeps the acronym the same: HWTSC.
