Or more specifically, bad news for Biden. Gas prices have been rising sharply lately, reversing earlier drops. It's now back up to about $3.30 per gallon nationally:

Democrats' greatest vulnerability on the economy continues to be the rise in prices and interest rates. Regardless of whether the rate of inflation has moderated, prices are still significantly higher than they were 18-24 months ago. Gas prices and the cost of anything that requires financing (including obviously housing and cars) are much higher than during the Trump administration. That's going to keep people unhappy/uncertain about the economy, regardless of what's happening with unemployment.

Gas prices were consistently under $3 per gallon throughout the Trump Administration. It's not great for Biden when they get significantly above $3, and that will not be great for Democrats down-ballot either.
