“ Richard Nixon’s role in the infamous Watergate break-ins has gone down in modern history as one of the biggest ever political scandals - but could the cover-up of Joe Biden’s deteriorating health while he was president top it?
To discuss this, Piers Morgan is joined by media heavyweights; TV journalist Chuck Todd, Washington journalist Jefferson Morley, former lawyer to President Nixon Geoff Shepard and former Obama aide and podcaster Johanna Maska.
Then, Piers sits down in Dubai with Emirates airline President Tim Clark to discuss Trump’s new Air Force One and more. “

Too long. Will address only the Biden/Nixon thing and only as regards Biden's mental state.
Poppycock! Slow news week. They don't have anything important to talk about, or want to stir up cocky doody just because. The Nixon coverup was strictly criminal. The Biden coverup was vanity, and I might add not entirely without historical analog. Grover Cleveland, Woody the Wilson, Eisenhower (not exactly a coverup but these things are always “spun” to be not-so-bad. i.e Lie about it) Kennedy, Reagan.
The question is: Yeah but this could have affected the national security, the economy, the what-the-hell-ever of the country! M'eh. The Prez always has peeps that know and understand all the crap that's going on. There's somebody/bodies that know which end is up and can make the decisions and “handle” the Prez if he's not up to it. Of course, that's sub-optimal! But so is all of Life. Of course it shouldn't be that way, but life is full of contingencies and exigencies . And the end was near, anyway.
The real problem was trying to run again and not letting the DNC start looking for a successor early enough to do any good. But that is not a crime. There have been others who stayed when they should have left, or boned something too late to recover and ruined it for everybody with a stake.
The point(s) here is/are:
A) This was not a crime. It actually falls under politics-as-usual. Watergate et al was mafioso level criminal activity.
B) No amount of catterwalling about “endangering the nation” will make it true. It's just an attempt to stir the pot, furrow the brow, purse the lips, and look “all journalistic and shtt” on camera. In fact a case can be made that we were in less danger at that time than we are at the moment so the importance of Biden's brain was as diminished as his brain's functioning.

As I've said before, Trump makes Nixon look like a choir boy.
And Nixon could actually govern. Trump is a terrible manager. He's never been good at it, witness his many bankruptcies. And he more corrupt than Nixon. Hell, he may be the most corrupt POTUS ever.
In fact a case can be made that we were in less danger at that time than we are at the moment...
Absolutely! Without question. Biden had a damned good cabinet and overall competent executive branch. Our government would have functioned well, even if Biden had been removed via the 25th amendment. The government would have functioned better than it is now. Trump has created a shit show with nothing but incompetent sycophants running the show. It's ridiculous.
