The week's question
In December 2024, in the thread "Re: BRK: Why Not XOM?", BreckHutHigh asked the members: "What about the long road trips with kids?" This week it is put to everyone again. The button below opens the small thread re-asking it - read what others have said so far, then give your own answer as an ordinary reply.

...this time taking over a brand new engineering building at the University of Washington.

But something happened this time: the cops arrested 30 of them. Good.

Heh. The cause is Palestine this time. Evidently Boeing funded this building:

UW STUDENTS ARE OCCUPYING THE BOEING FUNDED ENGINEERING BUILDING ON UW CAMPUS!! Show up right now to the Interdisciplinary Engineering Building (4000 E Stevens Way) to support these brave students.

The University of Washington is a direct partner in the genocide of the Palestinian people through its allegiance to its partnership with Boeing. RALLY NOW outside the IEB to take action with these students, alongside the people of Palestine and their brave resistance. Wear a mask, and cover idntifiable features.

The feebs went and tried to barricade the building:

ANTIFA rioters have completely taken over the University of Washington’s Interdisciplinary Engineering hall.

Heres what it looks like. Entrances are barricaded with furniture.

UW basically Defunded their Police, so they have private security now:

The Seattle PD showed up:

Predictably, Antifa set their furniture barricades on fire:
X (Twitter): Cam Higby 🇺🇸 on X: "UW ABLAZE fires have begun being started , this is the barrier that divides the encampment from the police. SPD are lined up in the alley

And here are the heroes manning the ramparts:

Naturally, they harass the local media when they show up:

Even Woke Idiot UW President Cauce had had enough at that point. Here's the FO stage:

...and we see the morons being hooked up:

“DEATH TO THE POLICE!”

“EVERY POLICE DEATH IS A VICTORY FIR THE RESISTANCE”

Yay, progressivism!

And here's the paddy wagon filling up:

Here's the student moron group that set it up. They're whining that Cauce wouldn't "negotiate":

Hopefully her spine is steely enough to throw them out of school.

About 30 individuals who occupied the building were arrested and charges of trespassing, property destruction and disorderly conduct, and conspiracy to commit all three, will be referred to the King County Prosecutor’s Office. Any students identified as being involved will also be referred to the Student Conduct Office.

King County's Prosecutor Office isn't known for its rock-ribbed stance in enforcing the law. They'll all either get released or pled down to jaywalking.
