I don't have time to research everything, so I will just agree that if your characterization is literally true, then I am in vehement opposition, not that my opposition will make any difference. Let me go to say, I agree with that NTSB spokesman when he expresses frustration that thousands of NTSB recommendations resulting from investigating all sorts of incidents going back years are mostly ignored. I would like to see pressure put on the FAA and the airlines to explain why not.

Because our elected officials (and by extension, most of us citizens), don’t give a rat’s ass. Apparently we’re more concerned with the price of eggs.
That and implementing the recommendations are expensive and would cause businesses to not have as much profit.

The ignored NTSB recommendations are from completed investigation that occurred long before Trump ruined our government. There will be time for Trump to ignore any recommendations from Reagan Airport in a year or two.
