Comes a point in time where a man needs to say 'what the fuck!"
Looking at the clown carload of conspiracy theorists, racists, perverts, misogynists, sadists, assorted criminals, liars, cheats, and killers that Orange Jeebus is packing into his Fox admin, Joe Biden would be nuckin futz to let his son fall into the clutches of their pervo-sadistic freaks.
Trump's gonna pardon his insurrectionists and further empower the worst of the Qanon Qurazies.
More power to Joe for seeing the light; there's no benefit to doing the honorable thing in this political environment.
So, in closing, as the QOP dials up their pearl clutching chops and feign concern for law and order...
I say..choke on them pearls because .... NOBODY CARES!

I LOVE IT!
YES!
It's now endorsed.
Donalds, Eric, Jared - if you don't score now - you haven't seen the ball since the kickoff.
I think you can get these people for 9 figures.
And dick with their bull laws and norms - even more.
I *knew* the Left would justify it ---and it's now open season.
Do you think Trump will dip his pen into company ink more than Joe?
HELL YEAH

I am speechless.
Principles matter, except to the worthless. Trump and Biden I can understand, no need to lower ourselves to their level.

Join the club of folks who are speechless wrt Trump's compulsive lies and grifting.
You view Biden and Trump on the same level wrt principles???? Really?
Joe Biden can not risk having his last son hanging around in a prison cell as Epstein was during crazy Trump's 1st term.

In "normal" times (i.e. the first 55 or so of my 64 years), this would be an unbelievably sleazy move, and Biden would be rightly taken to task by both parties. Now...it's still a sleazy move, but it's basically "par for the course" these days (I think because we're making America great again, or something like that?).
Still, on my proprietary Carpian's Sleaze-O-Meter, Biden rates a 3.8, while Trump keeps pegging the needle above 10.

Exactly. No one cares. There was absolutely no doubt Biden would pardon his son before he left Office.
Move on. Get back to the Trump bashing, it’s fun reading.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time. Biden DoJ prosecuted Hunter. Successfully. Now it's a waste of taxpayer money.
Pardon is pure nepotism. Biden is not as low as Trump, but sleazy enough. Was always, sniffing women's hair and doing other cringey crap though not nearly at Trump level.
Point is, absolutely no need to defend the indefensible because it's done by "your guy" instead of "their guy". Why would anyone here do it?

Principles???
Dude! You just elected a felon who is also an adjudicated rapist that instigated an attempted insurrection of the USA.

"Principles matter, except to the worthless" !!
"Mr. Kushner would be the first American to go from a bunk at the Federal Prison Camp Montgomery in Alabama to the Hôtel de Pontalba, the lavish 60,000-square-feet ambassadorial residence in Paris.
"Trump and Biden I can understand....their level."
Are you implying their levels of principled conduct are equal?

I didn't do a g-d thing.
You're pointing fingers everywhere except at the culprit, Pres Biden.
In other posts I patiently explained that no, he is not as bad as Trump. You chose to ignore it.
Unless you're Biden in disguise or a paid shill, I fail to understand this blind support. Very reminiscent of MAGA.

I don't read every post that I can see, and threads inundated with drek by a few posters don't appear in my shrewd feed.
I responded to the post in which you seemed to be placing Biden and Trump on the same level.

I recognize the shitstorm on the horizon. This isn't going to be a safe place for those Trump perceives to be his enemies. I cannot blame Biden for also seeing that his son will not be protected by the norms to which our Justice system aspired.

I think we are going to get to watch this. Just how much power Trump will accrue is anyone's guess, but probably more than we think. The problem is that it won't end with Trump. The core of MAGA will be looking for another Trump because Trump was never held accountable.

No. All legal action against Trump has been dropped except Fani's case, and that one may not survive. So Trump likely will never be held accountable. After Trump is gone, the core of Maga will look for another Trump. Just what would it take for Trumpism to die at this point? Even if he dies they'll be looking for another Trump and Vance may evolve to fit the bill.

Not Really. The core of MAGA will be looking for another Trump because Trump's policies were effective on the issues that most voters felt most important. AND we have the actual experience that 1) Trumps policies were effective and 2) he is not Hitler.

But how does that imply they'll be looking for another Trump? Even if he was held accountable, they'd still have to look beyond Trump, right?

No. They don't have to look beyond Trump. People will imitate Trump to cater to that core base. That core base isn't going to change easily. But it looks like the price of eggs determined this one.

Not so much the price of eggs but the liberals relentless, yet futile, attempt to explain to whiny consumers that actually you have it great, just look at these shiny statistics. And explain it with contempt as in, most of MAGA's lack the college education necessary to understand financial concepts like money.
Oh, speaking of determining the future, there also is that pesky border problem. Thank you Greg Abbott for your awareness campaign.

Naah, there has ALWAYS been a distrust of back East, Washington, New York, The Ivy League school types. It goes way back. The Puritans and their descendants were always telling people what to do is the characterization. Virginia and West Virginia didn't agree as an example. So what your voicing is a well noted cultural divide. The distrust of the mountain folk for people in the flatlands blends into it. The resentment of the south blends into it. Lots more.
Oh, speaking of determining the future, there also is that pesky border problem. Thank you Greg Abbott for your awareness campaign.
I don't think that was the determiner, it may have helped though. I think it was the price of eggs. I just didn't really have a good idea of how people were affected by the inflation.

Don’t forget Afghanistan, which the administration and its defenders claim was a success. Bide is a uniquely inept President who effed up pretty much everything he touched.
