simple reason the GOP pols are never worried about being dumb shills.
MAGA supporters are even dumber.

pre-trump, most of MAGA nation kept to their preferred culture, but found a golden calf to worship.
the best hope for america is the return of MAGA political apathy. maybe repeated resounding losses can fix it.
