New York Times columnist and former Oregon Democratic gubernatorial candidate Nicholas Kristof admitted on Saturday that the West Coast cities is "a mess" because of Democratic Party leaders.
In a column for the New York Times, Kristof argued that "west coast liberalism" is more focused on the intentions behind its policies rather than its outcomes. As a result, deep blue states like Oregon have major homeless and drug problems, "below-average" high school graduation rates, and high murder rates.
"But liberals like me do need to face the painful fact that something has gone badly wrong where we’re in charge, from San Diego to Seattle," the columnist declared at the outset of his piece, adding that the West Coast offers "a version of progressivism that doesn’t result in progress."

What's the fastest way to de-program hard core progressives?
Make them live under hard core progressivism.
When you do, you find some amazing reactions. liberals suddenly wondering where all the police went, why there's a homeless guy sleeping on their lawns, why there are drug camps 50 yards from grade schools, why there is meth residue on 95% of city buses, on and on.
Sometimes...they wake up and force their leadership to do something about it. Here in WA the democrats in the state legislature were forced to pass several bills overturning their #woke agenda (or else those same things would have gone on the ballot in November and driven massive turnout AGAINST the proggies). In Oregon they re-criminalized hard drugs after a disastrous state law stopped a lot of enforcement.
And even in CA Prop 47 - blamed for their rise in crime, which posters here claim doesn't exist - is up for repeal.
Yes, it takes years of punishment but YOU CAN get through to hard core liberals. You just need to make them live in teh stoopid that they would create for others.
