Yeah, I saw Return of the Jedi when it came out too - mind you not on opening day.

I know things weren't perfect - in any time period. But I just think that the level of people not giving a shit about basic courtesy has skyrocketed. And yeah I admit I'm prickly. But at the movies - - shit I don't want to hear whispering and phones and see texting screens light up.

I used to love going to movies but because of this stuff I rarely go and frankly, the stuff they make now isn't even close to the stuff when we grew up.

Funny - last movie I saw in theaters was Maverick - that warranted the exercise. Also before that.... Planes Trains and Automobiles - I love when they bring stuff back on the big screen. I feel like it sort of teleports me back, if only for a few hours.
