Interesting article that describes Coke transfer pricing its profit out to concentrate manufacturers that they built in countries that have low taxes, such as 1.4%. To no have it hit the books all the lawyer's have to say is they'll likely win on appeal.

I recognize the technique. I think we should come to an agreement with these companies on how much total profit they are going to report in the US. I mean this is a hugely profitable market and if they want access to the market they should pay the freight. This should be agreed upon by both Republicans and Democrats as necessary to limit the manipulation of our government. We're going to be manipulated some, but evidently we can be manipulated heavily enough that we look like an oligarchy.
