The ball for deescalation is in Trump’s hands. Does he call for violence to end? Does he tell his followers to fight?

I’m going to slightly discount his words “fight” in the immediate aftermath of the shooting. That’s a natural, emotional response to the situation. What is more important is what he says with some time to compose a thoughtful statement.
