With Trump's poll #'s slipping hard he needs to re-energize his racist base...

Trump has ordered the installation of a new statue in Washington, of Albert Pike, a Confederate general who supported slavery,
was involved in the KKK and said, "The white race, and that race alone, shall govern this country.
It is the only one that is fit to govern, and it is the only one that shall."

In 1905's book Ku Klux Klan: Its Origin, Growth and Disbandment, the author Walter L. Fleming, lists Pike as the Klan's "chief judicial officer"

Loud and proud about it, he is.

So we’ll keep reminding him about it, long after he attempts to evade it.

Perhaps he never will evade it. Collapsed authoritarian regime always seem to have a stable of deadenders who keep the faith long after their regime has been dead and buried.

The question that will be asked of him that will unnerve him, sometime way in the future….

Trump is mad that the Smithsonian is talking about "how bad slavery was." That's where MAGA is at.

Remember when people got mad at that lady for calling MAGA a basket of deplorables?
Turns out she was just scratching the surface.
