…for upping the tax that private colleges pay on their endowments.

Currently, private schools with a certain amount of endowment per student only pay 1.4% in tax on their investment income. In the new budget bill that tax goes up to…21% - which is the corporate rate.

Good! More, please.

I had heard that they were negotiating this number a bit and that it might be 14% now…

Oh my Word.

Those RedHats from Alabama who run all the private colleges and whose kids go to those private colleges are quaking in their boots now.

Now add an excise tax to incomes of everyone with an advanced degree.

And tithe the 401K balances for all tax benefits they got, but "working Americans' didn't take part in.
