I quibble with Pavlovitz calling this "the beautiful mess". Beautiful it ain't.
And one more thing he didn't mention: grocery prices aren't going to come down after all - Trump is already making excuses:
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-says...With just over a month until his return to the White House, President-elect Donald Trump said in a new interview it's "very hard" to bring down the cost of groceries for American families, raising questions about one of his key 2024 campaign promises.
In an interview with Time Magazine for its Person of the Year spread, the 78 year old was asked whether he would consider his presidency a failure if costs don't come down for consumers.
"I don't think so. Look, they got them up, I'd like to bring them down. It's hard to bring things down once they're up," he said. "You know, it's very hard."I can't wait to see how much Trump effs up the booming economy Biden has handed him. MAGA is about to experience a huge collective hangover, the likes of which have never been felt before!
MAGA!

“this Beautiful Mess” has been the title of his daily column for some time now.
More than anything, Pavlovitz is a former pastor/preacher/armchair theologian, and within that frame- “beautiful mess” is an apt title for his musings.
And he’s touched on the whole “grocery prices” meme before, but more than anything he is laser focused on the soul sickness that gave us Trump (again)

no, mass media will tell MAGA the economy\inflation\xyz has all been fixed by trump, regardless of price movements.
MAGA are already primed to believe it, since most GOP polled they were personally doing well the past 2 years, but 'know' most others were being destroyed by the biden economy.
reality is far too complex for MAGA :
- dollar purchasing power will overall decrease, as it has for a century.
- inflation will move from her to there, as always. sometimes even temporarily reversing over there, which is what rightwing media will point to.
groceries will NOT be discussed, nor a failure, if they don't go down !
attribution is dead.
