If a common schmuck like me, in the mid 2000s can make a decision to STOP paying taxes on robust income. If I can decide in that same era to SELL or SHUTTER successful small companies each employing 40-45 full time people and one small union that went extinct..... and pay minimal tax on a 1,000+ % capital gain and fast forward to now, multiple years in a row pay ZERO Federal income taxes and collect ObamaCare subsidies and Covid Unemployment goodies........ (and the LochNess PPP monster still lurks under water...lol)

.....Do you people - even you naive Club 401K'ers who are heavy on degrees and bullshit resumes but short on actually doing badass things REALLLY think that people with tremendous net worths and access to accounting firms, attorneys, etc are going to somehow be liable for the taxes you wish to arbitrarily levy on them - because you are MOOCHES?

Once again - give us SALT! Give us AMT reform! Give US 401K tax advantages! But we want to tax those who have more than us because we are mooches and jealous, and it makes us feel better to shout it out loud.

As usual, you'll be way short on revenue.

And the shortfalls in your cities and country (many caused by bad culture and a march away from basic traditions and norms) will only get worse, and with any luck your people will only get more unstable and more violent, and wind up acting that out in YOUR backyards and enclaves.

But hey, increase ObamaCare subsidies. Make sure Social Security doesn't get cut. Bigger Child credits, bigger college credits?
