What a frustrating disaster that was. We never did get an approved application that year.
And funnily enough, this year we decided to fill in the FAFSA application for the first time*. Our application is currently in limbo...
*Didn't do it with kid1 - didn't see the point. Advised to do it with kid2, not for federal aid which we won't get, but for other scholarship possibilities.
