The week's question
In December 2024, in the thread "Re: BRK: Why Not XOM?", BreckHutHigh asked the members: "What about the long road trips with kids?" This week it is put to everyone again. The button below opens the small thread re-asking it - read what others have said so far, then give your own answer as an ordinary reply.

Thank you Vice President Harris, for standing up against the Climate Extremists on the Left. On TMF there were some "dwenergyman" types who wanted Fracking Bans. And shouted about "earthquakes" and such. Luckily, my Vice President stands against that, and wants 'Murica not to depend on foreign fossil fuels but rather, American fossil fuels.

And then "the market" will decide when we switch over and in the meantime, plentiful fossil fuels and cheaper gas will certainly rush that process along.

Just ask anyone from Volvo to Honda to Toyota to General Motors - all of whom are POSTPONING and SLOWING down their grandiose "EV" goals.....indeed. "the market" is working perfectly in the direction off Cheney, Limbaugh, Exxon, Obama, Trump, Harris, and George W Bush.

Trump couldn't beat back extremists on the Right BUT5, Kamala Harris knows how to take out the belt, and tell Progressives to sit down, shut up, and accept that cheap fossil fuels are around for a long long time. "Take it and Like it missy" says Harris to the Left.

I'm not thrilled about the present and future wars but other than that, George W Bush's 3rd term, and the Progressive endorsement of it, looks promising.

While I won't be voting for either candidate, it is nice to know that our prospective President can slap the Left and shut them up.

Bill Clinton did that well and other than the communist china giveaways, it worked well.
