Fairtax.org aka Americans for Fair Taxation is an org dedicated to getting rid of the IRS. What the IRS wants was an easy and fair way to calculate tip income, so that it could be taxed. Nevermind the breaks that hedge funds get which aren't publicized. So tax tips, but tax hedgefunds fairly. Do both at once. The IRS could probably give us easy, but politically deadly ways to tax the rich as they're in the business of running up against how rich folk don't get taxed.
