Boater: So is it your position that the migration that is happening is controlled and all migrants are being properly vetted? Are you suggesting that the issue of the state usurping parental rights and the sexualization of children is not taking place ?

I'm saying that you don't want to have a discussion based on facts but rather present rightwing talking points disguised as facts.

Here's a fact: Trump entered the White House with the goal of reducing legal immigration by 63 percent. The Trump administration reduced the number of green cards issued to people abroad by at least 400,000 and the number of non‐immigrant visas by at least 11,000,000 during his term in office.

Did the combination of the COVID-19 pandemic and Trump's suppression of legal immigration cause a surge in southern border encounters after he left office?
