If the debate agreed upon before Trump was convicted as a felon requires the participants to share a stage, the stage must be set to keep Convict Trump away from President Biden.
Convict Trump's speeches vowing revenge are vicious verbal assaults chock full of threats and lies toward Americans he deems to be enemies of the state.
1. There must be 'capable' guards ready and willing to restrain Convict Trump. It must be impossible for the convict to approach President Biden and/or lurk behind him as he did to Hillary Clinton.
2. A physical barrier. Perhaps a wrought iron cage (Silence of the Lamb) to prevent Convict Trump access should he have a psychotic episode, an urge to go WWE wrestlemania on his debate opponent.

"Donald J. Trump, who was convicted of 34 felonies this week in a criminal trial in New York, will attend an Ultimate Fighting Championship cage match just across the river...
/.....Dana White, the chief executive of U.F.C., has become a vital ally of Mr. Trump’s, and when the two appeared together at a U.F.C. event in Miami earlier this year, Mr. Trump received raucous applause from a packed arena. The former president is likely eager to appear in front of a friendly audience in lieu of an official campaign rally.
Violent individuals and those who enjoy criminals and violence are Convict Trump's preferred associates.

What?
Trump, the known coward? Just a blowhard. He's the kind of bully that would fold like a cheap suit.
If Trump tried his stupid little intimidation stunt, I'd like to see Biden quietly walk up to him nose to nose, stare that worthless POS in the eyes and just silently hold that gaze until Trump crumpled and walked away.
