The thing about the Charlie Kirk murder was that Normies got to see what's under the lib mask.
You and me - we see the frothing hatred every day. We know what lurks in their heads - racism. Misogyny. An emptiness that they think they can fill by ridiculing others. Flat out hatred of their opponents. Some of them even are jealous that a few left wingers get to go out, dress up in their black bloc and have some fun. After all, who *doesn't* want to sneak up behind some right winger and fracture his skull with a bike lock, amirite?
But the Normies...this was something else. For them it's like the nasty little kid you keep hearing rumblings about but you don't really believe how awful he is until he shows up at your kid's birthday party. They think, "How bad can he be?" until Little Damian burns up the living room and punches your kid in the face for no reason. Then...they see.
And they've just seen exactly HOW BAD the political left wing is and what they're willing to get behind. You should see what a lot of minorities are posting on YouTube about wanting to find out for themselves all supposedly racist stuff that Charlie Kirk said...and they don't appreciate being lied to. Not at all.

but talking about how to really winSome years ago, I drove over to the local GOP offices in Livonia, to hear John Kasich speak. Liked quite a bit of what he had to say, but, of course, he had no chance. There may have been 100 people there.
I also drove over to Lawrence Tech to hear Mitt Romney speak. He spoke in a central space of a building, not in a theater. Every few minutes, he would genuflect to Bush 43, for "keeping us safe", while I muttered "Bush is a fascist". There may have been a few more people there, than at the Kasich talk. I watched the coverage on the local news that night. They had the camera located, so it looked like the crowd was a lot bigger than it was.
I tried to go to a Bernie rally. Bernie had a sports arena at Easter Michigan University, in Ypsilanti. Incredible mob scene. Crowds everywhere. Traffic jams everywhere. I finally gave up finding a place to park, and went home.
