A fairly evident piece of evidence, even if it is evident only in its absence:
I don’t see many of our right wing friends using the phrase “Russia! Russia! Russia!” anymore.
If we asked them why this is, I am sure they would give us some bullshit answer, straight from the firehose of the Right Wing Noise and Propaganda Machine (the same machine that is obsessed with transgenders and “DEI hires”).
Since 2015, whenever we shook the Trump Tree, it seemed that at least two or three Russians fell out of the tree.
Now, with Trump’s sell out of Ukraine, sell out of NATO, and repetition, almost word for word of Putin’s talking points, perhaps many on the right have grown silent on the issue. No more do I really see “Russia! Russia! Russia!” As the right wing counter to the evidence that is mounting quickly before their very eyes.
Some of them undoubtedly will keep their eyes shut and will refuse to see the evidence that is shouting loudly and staring them directly in the face- we can’t help that. There will always be those who are “blind because they refuse to see”.
