Am I really that crazy for suggesting that a risky country be disarmed?
In principle, no. In practice, it depends. Disarming Israel (of nukes) would be intractable. Losses on both sides would be too high, unless you nuked them yourself. Not gonna happen.
Albaby mentioned DPRK. In that case, I think we should disarm them. They are a dictatorship of one family. Plus they don't have that many nukes (yet). You'd have to do a decapitation strike, plus hit the nuke sites, plus command and control. And accept that Seoul might get whacked by conventional artillery (though taking out their command and control would help prevent a lot of that). Yeah, I've given it some thought.
Added bonus, China might have to roll in to deal with the resulting chaos (no leaders). Which would benefit us since that would require considerable Chinese resources.
But Israel? Won't work with them. Totally different.
I'm more concerned about the Felon (he's impulsive and demented), and DPRK (ruthless megalomaniac). And, to a lesser extend, Putin (also ruthless megalomaniac).
