Actually the first half hour was quite powerful, and even CNN had to admit that.

To quote ..

“Put another way, the entire speech and its production made Trump much more likable and much more sympathetic than he’s ever been before.”

Yep, soft spoken and not angry. More appealing to the female audience, imo.
