Yep yep yep, when something happens to Europe, the haughty, murderous, slave trading and colonizing entity the world has ever known - Europe - wants it to be a problem for the "international community" code for "America help us!"
So while Emmanuel TRUMP Macron isn't busy harassing Muslims and dictating how they dress or worship or assimilate....
(Actually Trump is more moderate he didn't do that)
https://www.npr.org/2023/04/11/1169194799/china-po..."French President Emmanuel Macron drew consternation on both sides of the Atlantic with a recent interview in which he questioned Europe's allegiance to the United States.
Macron spoke to journalists from Politico Europe and the French newspaper Les Echos, saying that "the great risk" Europe faces is that it "gets caught up in crises that are not ours, which prevents it from building its strategic autonomy," especially when it comes to the U.S.'s escalating tensions with China over Taiwan. In the interview, he suggested that the "worst thing" would be to "take our cue from the U.S. agenda and a Chinese overreaction."
Of course, Europe's Sheeple on the American Left won't be crying "NATO!" "Our Alliances!"
And then they love going back to using huge deterrent nuclear arsenal and power of capitalism to lord over Russia.
Eventually things are gonna change, it's just that American Superiority is still too far ahead of pretend entities and countries like Russia or EU or China

C'mon landy, given Biden a break. The dollar is in decline, Russian and China are partnering, the Saudi's won't return phone calls, fentanyl crisis, rampant crime, homeless encampments in major cities, Chinese warships are encircling Taiwan, not bad for two years. And currently Bidens EPA is promoting increased dependence on Chinese Lithium to raise EV sales to 60% by 2030 from the present level of 7%. No mention of where the charging stations and grid improvements will come from but incomplete planning is key to our decline under Biden, see Afghanistan withdrawal.

If you wanted to trash the United States...what would you do differently, really?

*"Coastal Humanist" **- self proclaimed. Pure, total partisan owned. Compassionate and decent in many ways - but sadly doesn't recognize their own paternalistic racism and intolerance. Every human encountered will ALWAYS be pigeonholed by race or religion. EVERY single post there's an opportunity. Lives in a BUBBLE - shouts things like "Go Baristas!" smugly - when confonted with stimulus checks being spent on $4,00 coffee by not the rich.......but SILENT when said Baristas are unionizing. Why? Greedy Club 401K doesn't like college educated executives having to pay more. Club 401K doesn't want ot pay more for coffee. Club 401K Coastal loves shouting "$15 an hour!!!" knowing full well it's obsolete since it's been many years that this bumper sticker is out. Unions may give "Baristas!" higher wages . And most of all - arrogant, snobby campus bred managers might have to be more organized. Coastal Humanist - admitting the bubble is the first step to "

These folks are too busy scrambling to find abortion pills and writing down each others' pronouns. A poopstorm is coming, and they have no idea. You and I own real estate and have incomes that should survive. Them? I doubt it.

Very dismissive - Trumpy Trait .....:)
You are describing yourself. You're one of the most dismissive people I've encountered, filled with smug loathing for anyone who doesn't agree with you regardless of how well they document their views. And that kind of tunnel vision creates blindness. HairyMike is very different. When someone presents facts that make it clear that the view he presented isn't correct, he acknowledges that reality. Accepts it. I respect that.

Heh. The Germans are in Beijing right now and are saying, "Uhhhh...actually...."
https://www.politico.eu/article/berlin-aims-to-set...As Baerbock embarked on her two-day visit Wednesday evening, officials in Berlin were eager to stress that Germany and the EU care about Taiwan and stability in the region, arguing it's mainly China that must contribute to de-escalation by refraining from aggressive military maneuvers close to the island nation.
Baerbock's trip comes amid international backlash against Macron's comments in an interview with POLITICO, arguing Europe should avoid becoming America's follower, including on the matter of Taiwan's security. These next few years you're going to see exactly who China has in their pocket.
