NYPD just made the exact same observation - that these protestors are being augmented by groups “well known to the NYPD” for being part of violent protests for YEARS. And she even called out folks in Black Bloc.
In other words, Antifa, the group that libs here steadfastly deny is any kind of concern and gaslight the rest of us in saying they don’t exist.
If we had a real DOJ they’d stomp out their money supplies and lock a lot of folks up for conspiracy to riot across state lines.

There is a LOT going on here besides vandalism. Assault, hate crimes, Hamas recruitment...
It seems to me there is sufficient evidence of an overarching organization of sorts coordinating, funding, and traveling across state lines to incite violence and commit hate crimes. This is lots bigger than a simple act of trespassing or vandalism on a random campus or two, so perhaps there is a RICO offense.
An additional crime has to do with preventing Jewish students from accessing educational opportunities they are entitled to. It seem there is a Federal law that was passed originally to protect blacks as the colleges were being integrated back when. Some pundits say this law could apply here.

It seems to me there is sufficient evidence of an overarching organization of sorts coordinating, funding, and traveling across state lines to incite violence and commit hate crimes.
Assault is a state crime (unless it's committed in a federal place or against a federal official). There almost certainly hasn't been enough time yet for the investigation to reach the point where the FBI would be called in on any of the other stuff. They just arrested these folks last night - law enforcement almost certainly didn't even have their names until then, let alone enough time to figure out whether any of these people were involved with all that stuff.
But it's highly unlikely that there's any federal crimes here. Odds are pretty low that any of these folks committed any criminal acts across state lines (it's not the person travelling across a state line, the criminal activity has to be committed across the state line). There's almost certainly no federal hate crimes involved here because you only have property crimes and/or resisting arrest - the general hate crime laws require a criminal attack attempting to cause bodily injury to a person, and the specific ones that encompass property crimes (like defacing religious buildings) don't apply here.
If there was any evidence that these individuals were involved in Hamas recruiting, you could call in the FBI - but again, there's almost certainly not been enough time for any of that information to really have been collected yet.

Those charges were not the charges filed against Trump but the charges filed against most of the J6ers.

Funny you should mention it (is that a current republican talking point) but John Bolton (BTW, I dislike John Bolton) earlier this month had to explain to a Newsmax host that the Afghanistan fiasco was negotiated by Trump who wanted drawdown American troops to zero and would have pulled out of Afghanistan before leaving office (to use as a bragging point) if not for the Pentagon, which stopped him.
Oh, and Bolton also pointed out that America is much safer with Biden as president than with Trump in the Oval Office.
But hey, I'm voting for the guy who walks funny and gets sh!t done rather than the wanker who sexually assaulted at least one woman, says he wants to be a dictator, wants pregnant women to be spied on and thrown in jail, says he'll cancel parts of the constitution, wants to construct internment camps, wants the military to patrol American streets, stole classified documents, entered a conspiracy to replace legitimate electors with fake electors, doesn't have the stamina to stay awake in court, complains that he's banned from campaigning but golfs on every day he's not in court, and calls American war dead suckers and losers.
