Trump...baselessly accused Democrats of being “giddy” that flags will be at "half-mast" during his inauguration.
I don't think any Democrats are actually giddy at the presidential tradition of flying the flag at half-staff for 30 days post death. It is meant to recognize the Office as well as the person and to be a period of national mourning. That this period includes Inauguration Day is both ironic and appropriate in many ways as many of us are in mourning for several reasons.
