At least that's the story that's running everywhere right now.

And she drew national attention in May when she pushed back on a participant at a town hall meeting in Iowa who criticized Trump’s “big, beautiful bill” that included cuts to Medicaid funding and work requirements.

After the questioner asserted that people would die because of the legislation, Ernst replied: “People are not — well, we all are going to die, so, for heaven’s sakes.”

At least that's the story that's running everywhere right now.

I’m actually sorry to hear it. She was deeply underwater in approval ratings (38%, last I heard) and it gave the Dems a serious chance of a pickup. Now the Republicans will nominate someone with a clean slate, and they will win, because: Iowa.

The last time they elected a “new” Democratic Senator was in 1985. It’s bright red there, with a side order of hope.

the slate of dem candidates are the envy of any other red state.
turek is my fav, but some others really good.

benchmark is cooper in NC...only one needed to make a trumplet flee.
