Our illustrious metrosexual hypocritical governor is positioning himself for a presidential run.
Sadly, I agree with him on this topic. Exceptions make for bad laws. Biologically, trans people are exceptions.
Why do we have to bucket people into men and women only? Every culture for thousands of years has had a catch all third sex category that the people who don't fit or don't want to, are grouped under. If we did that and they had their own sports and facilities, a lot of unnecessary social division could be taken care of.

I am sad that you agree with him on this topic too.

Clever oneliner.
Any real points to make?
Biologically, there are at least 6 sexes, that plus the huge role that the brain plays in human sexuality, an uncountable number of genders.
Forcing them into two buckets is stupid.
There are two major groups of biological males identifying as males, and females, females. Neither should be confused with the rest of the population.
And it's not practical to have 100 types of any public facilities or events. Three seems like a reasonable compromise.
But of course the extreme left and the extreme right have never heard the word compromise and will not stop until this country is divided into 100 sub groups that outsiders can take advantage of. I am from India, and I have read its history, so I know what I'm talking about here.

Generally we don’t. But maybe for sports we do. Men and women develop musculature entirely differently, and no amount of hormone therapy is going to change that and make it “equal.”
The reality is that not everyone gets to do everything. I don’t get to be the star quarterback in the NFL. I also can’t sing opera with the NY Met, or run a 4 minute mile. I have to find other things I think I can excel at, mostly things where biology isn’t such an issue.
But when it comes to physicality in sports, yeah, I’m in agreement as well.
