Bottom line: it wasn't staged. - Pete

Clearly not staged, just as clearly incompetent.
You don't have to believe in a conspiracy to still have a basic and legitimate question, currently unanswered, "Who decided to let Trump take the stage? We need to hear from that individual....

Who decided to let Trump take the stage? We need to hear from that individual....
In all likelihood, that was Trump. Do you think the Secret Service telling him "no" would be effective?

Fine by me. We still need to hear from the individual and let him testify as to Trumps reaction rather than relying on your speculation.

So blaming the Secret Service based on your speculation was fine, but blaming Trump based on what we know of his historical actions is not OK and we need to wait for the investigation.
Got it.

PS - For those who may not have watched to the end of the video, at least scroll to about 2:50 in the video and listen to what this commentator has to say about Trump and his Secret Service detail. He explains this point quite well.

I a not blaming anybody. I simply identified a central question that should be asked and answered. What makes you twink that equates into blaming anyone?

I was referring to you and Dope immediately blaming the Secret Service for a security lapse before any evidence at all had been disseminated. And to be completely fair, now that we do have some information, we still do not know that it actually was a security lapse by the Secret Service. There are still possible scenarios where the Secret Service did nothing at all wrong. These scenarios are unlikely IMHO, but not impossible.

When your mission is to protect, then you are responsible period. If your decision is to delegate, then you are still responsible. Either you failed to delegate to a responsible party, or you failed to establish controls to ensure they were actually delivering what they promised.
All that remains if to figure out how and why so that corrections can be identified and made. But there is no question that the SS is responsible.

The MUST PROTECT mode is still on.
They left a roof uncovered. That's a colossal f-up no matter how you look at it.

Yup. This isn't that hard. They messed it up.

That 'obligation' of law enforcement/protection agencies will become increasingly difficult, if not futile as basket cases aquire ever greater numbers of high capacity high power rifles with machine gun capabilties (thank the SCOTUS for blessing bump stocks.... Vegas Strong, babay).
The next time the shooter might just open up with bump-stocks, spraying the fans in the stands behind President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Camacho; a fitting feature of Trump's Idiocracy/UFC/WWE styled pro-wrestling and fighting events.
