The House republicans have spoken, choosing for now the man who once described himself as "David Duke without the baggage" to lead them over Denny Hastert 2.0 by a vote of 113 (Scalise) to 99 (Jordan).

hard to believe, but hastert and mccarthy are better choices than but jim jordan.

as far as i can tell, jordan has not done a single day of taxpayer-funded work in 6 years other than as chief insider propagandist for trump.
his longer tenure, and laughable rolled-sleeve 'working man' gimmick, has fooled a lot of voters into thinking he is somehow less radical than the freedom caucus.

am waiting for the SNL skit where jordan accidentally calls for a special counsel in the ohio state wrestling investigation.
