I am not a doctor, or your doctor, so this is just a random comment for you to research as you wish*. And you might be aware of this already. My 2p in case it's useful:
I gather some people find AFib is connected to the carb content of their diet; more carbs => more chance of afib (aka "holiday heart"). So you might consider reducing your carb intake. Another angle; it's possible this acts through changes in electrolytes, so altering your intake of sodium/potassium, calcium/magnesium might have an effect, e.g. extra K or Mg might help.
