“In our country, you get illegally arrested by ICE, then you have to sue in federal court to get a bond hearing, to then pay money to get released from custody, and then pay money or rely on volunteers to fight your case that never should have been brought forward in the first place," he said. "It’s an unconstitutional merry-go-round.”https://www.wbur.org/news/2025/11/20/allston-car-w...In the days after the arrests, the workers were scattered across New England detention cells. One woman was transferred to Texas. According to her attorneys, she was returned after they filed a lawsuit contesting her transfer.
Three other workers were granted bail Tuesday.
At Thursday’s hearing, lawyers for the Department of Homeland Security agreed the three workers did not pose any danger to the public. They still pushed to keep them in custody, arguing the women could be flight risks.
The lawyer for all nine workers, Todd Pomerleau, said they had family in the area. One worker is a mother to a young child who is a U.S. citizen, he said.
Pomerleau said Thursday's decision “speaks volumes” about serious problems with how ICE carried out the raid.
“Not one time did DHS argue that any of them are dangerous people, which contradicts the narrative that they’re criminal, illegal aliens,” Pomerleau said.

Pomereau, an experienced immigration attorney and advocate, notably did NOT say that even a single one of his 9 clients were 1) present in the country legally and in accordance with immigration law; 2) working at the car wash legally and in accordance with immigration law.
End of story. Deport them.

Just be clear, none of them are suspected of being rapists, drug dealers, or gangs members. So Trump’s claim that he is protecting the country and its borders is a lie. All they may have done is committed the misdemeanor of staying in this country without a proper visa.
This is a campaign to ethnically cleanse the country. End of story.

Eland,
Look at what I posted (top) and then at your response (next). Like their attorney, you don't argue (nor believe) that they are in the country legally nor that they are working in the country legally. Enforcing our immigration laws is not "ethnic cleansing." Excessive catering by cynical Dems, to your kind of imbecility and lawlessness, is why Trump was re-elected.

LOL no it's not "ethnic cleansing" to enforce immigration laws.
Even the 9 illegal aliens who were illegally working at the Allston Car Wash never called it "ethnic cleansing."
